Hello everyone,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, I\u2019ve been on a break for a few months. But the restart is coming soon. I\u2019m currently in Senegal and I\u2019ll soon be setting off to do this small loop (photo 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then I\u2019ll head back to Abidjan to pick up Lady Pink\u2026 and from there, I plan to turn around and ride back to Senegal to wander around West Africa a bit longer. It will be a 3,000 km journey, mainly off-road, which I expect to complete in about two months (photo 2).

After that, I\u2019ll probably spend some time traveling between Senegal and Guinea-Bissau. Then at the end of October, I\u2019ll head in the opposite direction to make my way this time to Cape Town.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why this choice? As I\u2019ve told you, I love West Africa, especially the two Guineas, and there\u2019s so much to explore in Senegal. So I\u2019m taking my time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the meantime, I\u2019m having fun with the technical side of things and learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The idea is to offer you something more fun. I\u2019ve created a short slideshow about the last two years (which I\u2019ll be putting online soon \u2014 I just need to tweak two or three things).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And this morning, I made a little retrospective slideshow about the 2003\/2004 trip. For once, it\u2019s mostly photos of me.
